Diversity and Inclusion at UW System: Initiatives and Outcomes
The UW System has made significant progress in increasing diversity among its faculty. In the past decade, the percentage of underrepresented faculty members has increased from 12% to 18%. The UW System is also a leader in the nation in the recruitment and retention of women faculty members. Women now make up over 40% of the UW System’s faculty.
