Faculty Governance and Leadership
Faculty governance is a shared responsibility between faculty members and administrators. Faculty have a voice in the decision-making process through elected representatives who serve on faculty senates and committees.
The UW System has a strong tradition of faculty governance. The faculty senates at each UW System institution play a vital role in shaping the policies and procedures that govern the university.
